When most people think about improving their health, they picture gym memberships, meal plans, or trying to drink more water. And while those things matter, they’re only part of the picture.
At SMW Fitness and Health Coaching, I created a system that goes deeper because you’re not just a body walking around on autopilot. You’re a multi-dimensional human being. That means your health and wellness journey needs to support every part of who you are.
That’s where The 4 Elements of True Wellbeing come in. It’s the foundation of how I coach my clients and guide them toward real, lasting change. If you’re someone looking for a health coach who truly sees the full picture, especially here in Yuma, AZ, this is the kind of approach that’s designed for you.
Let’s break it down!

Element #1: Movement
Your body was built to move, and how you move through the world matters.
Movement isn’t just about burning calories or chasing six-pack abs, it’s about creating a body that feels strong, stable, and capable in everyday life. Whether that’s carrying groceries, playing with your kids, or moving through Steel Mace training, movement should be functional and empowering.
I teach my clients how to move with purpose, connect to their bodies, and build strength that actually supports the way they live. And I even recommend somatic movement for a nervous system reset (in cases where I see much burnout).
Element #2 | Nutrition
Food isn’t just fuel, it’s medicine, energy, and connection. But nutrition isn’t about strict rules, diets, or cutting out entire food groups. It’s about understanding what works for your body, creating a mindful relationship with food, and learning how to nourish yourself in a way that feels sustainable, enjoyable, and freeing. I just want you to know that every single person is different due to their own biology. It’s important to consider that when choosing what to eat!
Element #3: Lifestyle
This is the part most programs skip over, but it’s often the most powerful.
Health and wellness are shaped by how you live your life every single day. That includes how you manage stress, your quality of sleep, your mindset, your boundaries, and how much rest and recovery you give yourself.
Through health coaching, we dive into what’s actually working for you and what isn’t. From simple habit shifts to deeper mindset work, we’ll create routines that feel like they support you, not control you. This is what I like to call “Lifestyle Medicine” and I will write more about it later in my blog!
Element #4: Metaphysics
This is where the spirit comes in! What I like to call the spiritual foundation to health and wellness.
Wellbeing isn’t just physical. It’s energetic, emotional, and spiritual too. The thoughts you think, the emotions you carry, and the energy you hold all affect your health.
Through practices like Reiki, mindfulness, breathwork, and metaphysical tools, I guide clients to release blocks, connect to their deeper self, and find healing from the inside out. If you’re someone who feels like you’ve done everything “right” and still feel off, this element might be the missing piece and it’s a great place to explore if you haven’t put it to the test!
The SMW Way: It’s About the Whole You
This system didn’t just appear out of nowhere. It’s the result of my own personal journey, lessons from other incredible experts and wellness frameworks, and real conversations with clients who were craving more than just another workout or meal plan.
As a health coach, my mission is to walk alongside you, not just tell you what to do. I believe in coaching that’s compassionate, honest, and tailored to your REAL life.
So if you’re over the quick fixes and ready to explore your health on a deeper level, this 4-element approach could be the missing piece. Whether we work together or not, my hope is that just learning about this system sparks something in you to start making shifts that support your whole well-being.
